Configuring the Workload Archiving cyclic log collection

This procedure describes how to configure the Workload Archiving cyclic log collection, which enables you to determine when the logs and outputs of a cyclic job are archived. The ability to change this configuration reduces the load on resources, such as CPU usage and disk space.

To configure the Workload Archiving cyclic log collection:

1. From the Control-M/EM server computer, navigate to the following directory:

   <Control-M EM_Home_Dir>\archive\config

2. Open the SystemParameters.xml file and search for the cyclic.log.collection.interval.minutes system parameter.
3. Change the value to the required number of minutes before the output and log of a cyclic job are archived.

   If you enter a value of 0, the output and logs of cyclic jobs are collected after every run.
