This procedure describes how to log in to CCM, which enables you to perform component and system configuration, enable security parameters and authorizations, and manage system alerts and host group management.
To log in to CCM:
From the Start menu, select All Programs > BMC Software Control-M 9.0.21 > Control-M Configuration Manager.
The Control-M Configuration Manager login window appears.
Type your user name and password.
From the Server drop-down list, select the Control-M Web Server that you want to connect.
NOTE:
If the Local User checkbox appears and is selected, you can log in without typing a username and password. If you want to log in as a different user, uncheck the checkbox and type a different username and password.
If you are connecting to an environment that is configured with IdP, the User Name and Password fields are disabled. If you select the Emergency User checkbox, the User Name and Password fields are enabled and you can log in as a local Control-M/EM user.
To change the environment, do the following:
Click Show advanced settings.
In the Host Name field, type the hostname where the Control-M Web Server is located.
In the Port Number field, type the port number for the Control-M Web Server.
The Using SSL checkbox indicates the SSL mode. To change the mode, see Introduction to SSL for Control-M.
From the Domain drop-down list, select an LDAP, IdP, or Local_EM domain.
This field only appears if there is a defined LDAP or IdP domain, as described in Defining System Settings.
Click Apply.
Click Login.
NOTE:
If the Change Password field appears, your password is about to expire. Type your new password, and then confirm it.
If you are connecting to an environment that is configured with IdP, a login browser window appears. Type your username and password and click Log In.
