Copying an event

This procedure describes how to copy an event in the Control-M Configuration Manager and how to use the copied parameter values to create a new event.

To copy an event:

1. From the CCM, right-click the Control-M for SAP component on the host that you want to manage, and select Event Watcher Management.

   The Event Watcher Management dialog box appears.

2. In the Activate Event Watcher field, select On.
3. In the SAP Connection Profile field, select the connection profile where the events need to be watched.
4. Select the event in the Watch for the following events area that you want to copy and click .

   The Copy Event dialog box appears.

5. Update the required parameters in the fields that are displayed.
6. Click OK.

   A new event is created, based on the Control-M for SAP event IDs and parameters that were copied.
