- Parent [current] Job definition: Detects spawned jobs of the current job and extracts these jobs to Control-M, with identical properties to the "parent job".
NOTE: If the spawned jobs create spawned jobs of their own, they are also detected. Additionally, all generations of spawned jobs are created in the folder to which the original parent job belongs.
- A specific job definition: A field is displayed, in which you can enter a specific SAP-type job name. Detected spawned jobs of the current job are extracted to Control-M with identical properties to the specified (not the current) job.
NOTE: The selected job must exist in the same folder, and the connection profile should be the same. BMC recommends that it should have the same Application and Sub Application values.
To detect further "generations" of spawned jobs, select the Detect Spawned Jobs of the selected set job.
