Adding an SAP Event History Profile

This procedure describes how to add an SAP Event History Profile.

To add an SAP Event History Profile:

  1. From the CCM, right-click the Control-M for SAP component on the host that you want to manage, and select Event Watcher Management.

    The Control-M for SAP Event Watcher Management dialog box appears.

  2. In the SAP Connection Profile field, select the connection profile for the events that need to be watched.
  3. In the SAP Event History Profiles section, click Load.

    The SAP Event History profiles table for the selected connection profile name is loaded.

  4. Click Add.

    The SAP Event History Profiles Management dialog box appears.

  5. Type the Profile Name.

    NOTE: The profile name cannot be empty and can contain any character.

  6. In the Criteria Hierarchy section, complete the hierarchy by using one of more of the following tool bar buttons:

    NOTE: When opening a new profile, the AND folder appears. This folder is empty and cannot be deleted. You can delete the folder contents but not the folder.

  7. To add criteria, highlight the folder, and click Criteria.
  8. Do one or more of the following:
  9. When you finish building the criteria hierarchy, click OK.

    The new SAP Event History Profile is created.
