Defining a Process Chain job

This procedure describes how to define a Process Chain job for Control-M for SAP Business Warehouse.

Before You Begin

Ensure that you have met the following requirements:

To define a Process Chain job:

  1. From the Connection Profile field, click Browse_new.

    The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.

  2. Select the connection profile that you want to use to run a process chain job, and click OK.
  3. From the Process Type drop-down list, select Process Chain.
  4. From the Process Chain Characteristics area, in the Select Process Chain field, click Select.

    The Select Process Chain dialog box appears.

  5. Click Load.
  6. Select the required Process Chain, and then click OK.
  7. Click OK.

    The Description and ID fields are populated.

  8. From the ReRun Options drop-down list, select one of the following:
  9. Click SAP - More and select one or more of the following:
  10. To detect spawned jobs, select the checkbox and add parameters as required, as described in Detect Spawned Jobs.

    NOTE: To detect jobs, you need to ensure the following:

  11. Continue to define the job, as described in Using Control-M Workload AutomationControl-M.
