The following table describes the Control-M Interception Rule parameters that are used in Adding interception rules to Control-M.

Job Name |
Specify the SAP job name to be extracted from SAP to Control‑M The * wildcard can be used. |
User |
Defines the name of the SAP user that created the job The * wildcard can be used. |
Program |
Indicates the program that is used by the SAP job The * wildcard can be used. Default (*) BMC recommends that the value * is used. |
Into Folder |
Identifies into which Control-M folder the job is submitted Valid values are: None (Default) - use when the job template does not belong to a folder Recent - add the job to the folder that was most recently ordered Standalone - order the job by adding it to a folder New folder - order the job to a new folder Selected - set a folder Order ID to which to add the job The last four options are similar to the Force Into options of Control‑M/EM. Folder Order ID |
Identifies the specified folder of jobs to be ordered This field is enabled only when Selected is specified in the Into Folder field. |
Template Job Name |
Defines the name of an existing SAP-type Control-M job (not submitted) to be used as a template for creating the job in Control-M Mandatory unless User Exit is selected. |
Template Folder Name |
Defines the name of the existing Control-M folder to which the Job Name, described above, belongs Mandatory, unless User Exit is selected. |
User Exit |
Defines the path to an executable or script file that includes user-specific definitions about how to create the intercepted jobs in Control‑M Mandatory, unless Template Job Name is selected. If User Exit is selected, you must do one of the following: Enter a valid path to a pre-defined executable or script file. Click Select to select an existing file. NOTE: If you access this file from the Control-M Configuration Manager, it has to exist in the USER_EXIT directory. This is located in the Control-M/Agent directory, under CM/SAP. |
