Editing a connection profile

This procedure describes how to edit a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager.

To edit a connection profile:

1. From the CCM, right-click the Control-M for SAP component on the host that you want to manage, and select Connection Profile Management.

   The Control-M for SAP -Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

2. Select the connection profile that you want to edit, and click .

   The Update <connection profile> Connection Profile dialog box appears.

3. For each field, logon type, set the fields, as described in the following topics:
   • Set Connection details parameters for specific application server
   • Set Connection details parameters for group
   • Set Secured Network Connection details parameters
   • Advanced Options parameters
4. Review the connection profile details and click Test (optional).

   If the test completes successfully, the connection profile validates and you can now define a SAP job, as described in Job definition. If the test fails, review the error message and test it again.

5. Click OK.

   The connection profile is updated in the CM for SAP - Connection Profile Management dialog box.
