Testing a connection profile

This procedure describes how to test a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager, to validate the connection parameters.

To test a connection profile:

1. From the CCM, right-click the Control-M for SAP component on the host that you want to manage, and select Connection Profile Management.

   The Control-M for SAP -Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

2. Select the connection profile that you want to test, and click .

   If the test completes successfully, the connection profile validates and you can now define a SAP job, as described in Job definition. If the test fails, review the error message(s), fix any problems as necessary, and test it again.
